It is important to have a church home -- a place to worship God, a place to grow in your faith and to turn to in times of trouble. We invite you to join us in our journey of faith. Classes for new members are held periodically throughout the year. Information is contained in the Chimes, Bulletin and on this website.
We ask people to attend several sessions of the "What We Believe" class as a method of preparation for and reflection on the Christian faith and the meaning of membership.
List of Dates/Topics (It's not to late to attend!)
The current round of New Member classes are being held on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. through December 10th in Room 205. Speakers are the Pastors and various members of the congregation.
Future Topics:
- Nov. 5th -- How do United Methodists understand the sacraments? What are the "means of grace?"
- Nov. 12th -- How do United Methodists "do" church?
- Nov. 19th -- What is the history of this congregation?
- Nov. 26 -- No Class - Thanksgiving
- Dec. 3rd -- How is Princeton UMC structured for mission today and how do I fit in?
- Dec. 10th -- What does it mean to be a member in this church?
Whether you’re new to the church, new to United Methodism, or a life-long dyed-in-the-wool Wesleyan, you will enjoy joining in the discussion. Learning about our faith is a journey that should never end!
