Small Groups
The small group ministry is designed to bring adult members together for prayer, study, and fellowship. They are ongoing from one year to the next and sponsor holiday parties and other special events.
The Monday Morning Group meetings on Monday mornings at 10 a.m. in Room 205 at the Church. They are led alternately by Tom Lank and Jana Purskis-Brash. The group is currently reading and discussing the 2009 Disciplines which follow the lectionary.
The Vanguards meet on Thursdays at 12 noon in Room 205 at the Church. Could you use a midweek boost in your relationship with Jesus Christ? Would you like to enhance the way you view your life and relationships with others? A group called the Vanguards may be able to help with both of these questions. The group meets each Thursday in Room 205 at noon and is currently journeying through the New Testament. Each Thursday, the group seeks to relate their lives to the message of the scripture, prayer, and hymn through discussion. There is no “homework,” no schedule to complete a certain amount of scripture, nor do the members make every Thursday’s meeting. By checking the Church Calendar printed each week in the Sunday bulletin, you will see the particular scripture that the group will read on the next Thursday. All are welcome!
