Faith Journeys You may have noticed our Faith Journey section of the website. Here we feature interesting interviews with members of our church. They tell us about their spiritual needs, how they came to be believers in Jesus Christ, what walking in faith has meant for them, and active church members. Every story is different and every story is interesting. If you would like to tell us about your faith journey -- which means a one on one interview and photograph of you for the webpage -- please contact webmaster(at)princetonumc.org
Graphic Designer needed to design a new logo for the church's written and online publications. Contact growth(at)princetonumc.org.
Greeters Needed: The Growth Committee is looking for people to be Sunday morning greeters. This is a great opportunity to get to know the members of the congregation better as well as welcome visitors to our church. We are currently working on a schedule for the fall. Contact growth(at)princetonumc.org.
Growth Committee We are looking to add some enthusiastic, creative members to the PUMC Growth Committee – perhaps you could join us!!
The Growth Committee is responsible for bringing people through the doors of our church and helping them feel welcome. The number of spiritual and stimulating programs going on at PUMC is multiplying and we need committee members who can help us develop and implement strategies to get the word out about the multitude of opportunities for individuals in our community to worship, serve and enjoy fellowship with us.
We are looking for people who represent the glorious diversity of our church and our community; if you are interested, please contact Brad Middlekauff at growth(at)princetonumc.org.
Hall Monitors are needed During Worship. With the start of the new Children's Church on Nov. 1st at 11 a.m. and in order to fully implement the Safe Sanctuary Policy, PUMC needs five to six hall monitors to work alternate Sundays during the services. At the 9:30 service the monitor would help Sunday School teachers take attendance, collect offerings, check in on classes for occasional and unusual needs, help take younger children to/from the bathrooms, and monitor the hallways for stray "sheep." At the 11:00 AM service the principal duty would be monitoring the halls. A portion of the sentry duty can be spent listening to the sermon from the Sanford-Davis Room. We are seeking at least four people to be monitors so they can do the job on a rotating basis. To sign up, please contact church-school(at)princetonumc.org
Knitters and Crocheters! Our extraordinary knitters and crocheters will again fashion a total of 52 wool caps for disadvantaged children -- just in time for Christmas. Doris and the new PUMC knitting group are hard at work making hats. They are also challenging the Sunday School to match their gifts and donate lots and lots of pairs of mittens or gloves to the PUMC mitten tree. All members are invited to contribute to the mitten tree. Just bring your donations into church on Sunday morning and look for the mitten tree in the Sanford-Davis Room.
Nursery: Volunteers are needed to provide care for our youngest members at the 11:00 a.m. time slot on Sunday mornings. To volunteer, please contact the church office office(at)princetonumc.org
